Usage of Inventory module in POS: Our inventory management system tracks stock flow, from purchase to sale, facilitating effective ordering decisions. It includes features for managing Salvage Products, organizing stock by location, and deleting items. It responds to market trends, ensuring sufficient stock for fulfilling orders and alerting us to potential shortages.
- To access the side menu on the POS home page, just click on the icon situated in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Select the "Inventory" option from the side menu by clicking on it.

- Upon viewing the displayed page, you will observe that the valuation of your inventory is highlighted in a distinct blue color.
- Unique Part Nos- The inventory display effectively presents the saved unique parts, facilitating rapid identification and preventing the occurrence of duplicate entries.
- Total Stock Items - The inventory display provides the total quantity of parts saved in our inventory.
- Stock Value ₹ - The inventory display indicates the overall value of our inventory.
- On the right side of the screen, you will discover a range of filters that can be utilized to refine and customize the displayed inventory data as per your requirements.
- To review inventory for a particular brand, simply choose the brand from the provided drop-down list and click on the search option. This action will present the corresponding inventory results related to the selected brand.
- Furthermore, we have the flexibility to search our inventory using stock filters like "Filter by QOH," "Positive QOH," "Negative QOH," "Zero Stock," "Non-Zero QOH," and "All Stock." These filters empower us to fine-tune our inventory search by specifying stock quantity criteria according to our needs.

- On the General page, you have the option to view the details of the specific part that you have selected from the Inventory.
- Part Number - The field displays the Part Number of the selected part from the inventory.
- Product - The field exhibits the standard part name generated by Autozilla for the selected part.
- Part Name - The field represents the Part Name that is initially assigned when entering the part in the POS. Additionally, it provides the option to enter a new part name if desired.
- Brand - The field displays the brand associated with the selected part from the inventory.
- Condition - The field indicates the condition of the selected part, specifying whether it is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or an OES (Original Equipment Supplier).
- MOQ and ROL - The field displays the Minimum Order Quantity of the part as well as the Re-Order Level.
- Short Description - This field provides a concise one-line description for the selected part.
- Full Description - This field presents the comprehensive part description for the selected part.
- Once any changes have been made to the part-related data, it is essential to click on the save option to ensure that the modifications are saved.
Purchase History The inventory display offers a comprehensive overview of the complete purchase history for a specific part. It includes detailed information about the suppliers from whom the parts were purchased and the corresponding quantities acquired.

- On this page, you can access the purchase details of the selected part from the inventory.

- Vendor - In this section, the names of the suppliers who will be providing parts to us will be prominently displayed.
- Purchase Date - In this section, you can observe the purchase dates associated with the selected parts.
- Qty Purchased - In this section, you can view the quantity of parts purchased from a specific vendor.
- Purchase Price/Qty ₹ - In this section, the amount paid for the part is displayed.
- Discount - In this section, you can observe the discount percentage applied to the purchase.
- Invoice No - In this section, the Purchase invoice number can be seen.
- Invoice Amt ₹ - Within this section, you can find the total amount of the invoices for the purchases made.
Alternates
- By clicking on the "Alternates" option, you will be directed to the subsequent page.
- On this page, you can view the alternative parts selected from the inventory.
Vehicle Fitment By inputting vehicle fitment data, we can guarantee that the part will exclusively be compatible with the specified vehicle. This information holds immense significance for both our team and any new staff members, ensuring precise compatibility of parts.
- Upon selecting the "Vehicle Fitment" option, you will be directed to the subsequent page.
- On this page, you can view the vehicle fitment details for the selected part directly from the Inventory page.
- To map additional vehicles for that specific part, simply choose the desired vehicle from the provided drop-down list.

Images By uploading images of the selected part, we can verify that the customer is requesting the exact same part, providing visual confirmation that ensures accuracy and helps prevent any potential misunderstandings.

Rack Details Providing rack details for the part enables us to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers.
- Upon selecting the "Rack Details" option, you will be redirected to the subsequent page.
- On this page, you can view the rack details associated with the selected part directly from the inventory page.
- You have the option to change the rack for the selected part.
- Once the Rack details have been changed, remember to click on the Save option to ensure that the modifications are saved
Specifications
- Upon selecting the "Specification" option, you will be directed to the subsequent page.
- On this page, you have the ability to provide specifications for the selected part directly from the inventory page.
- To proceed, you need to select the desired specification type (unit) from the available options in the drop-down menu.
- Once you have selected the Unit type from the drop-down list, simply click on the Add option to proceed.
- Upon clicking the Add button, the selected unit type will be added below the Unit column box.
- Next, you need to enter the units by selecting them from the provided drop-down list.
- Once you have entered the units, remember to click on the Save option to ensure that the changes are saved.
Other Details

- On this page, you have the ability to specify the advantages or benefits of the part.

How to track Salvage Products - When a customer returns a part that has already been sold and is deemed damaged, it is important to categorize it directly as a salvage product in the point of sale (POS) system. In this case, the return quantity for these damaged parts should not be displayed during the return processing.

Manage Stock - When dealing with multiple stock locations and the need to delete all items with a positive quantity, you have two available options:
- Bulk deletion: This option enables you to delete all items, both with positive and negative quantities, in a single operation. It offers a convenient and efficient way to swiftly remove these items from all locations simultaneously. This method is particularly useful when you need to delete items with positive and negative quantities across all locations simultaneously.
- Individual part-wise deletion: Using this option, you have the flexibility to delete positive quantity items individually and in a selective manner. It means you can choose specific parts or locations and remove their positive quantity items one by one. This method offers greater control and flexibility in managing your stock by allowing you to decide which parts or locations to delete.
To enable this feature, users need to follow these steps:
- Open the Settings tab in Autozilla POS.
- Select the Roles option.
- Choose the Administrator role from the drop-down menu.
- Toggle on the "Manage Stock" option.
- Click the Update button to save the changes.
This option is restricted to administrators only.
