Incorporating vehicle information into the Sales Invoice
Incorporating the vehicle's registration number and model in a sales invoice for spare parts is of utmost importance to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. This practice guarantees that the correct parts are provided for a particular vehicle, thereby reducing returns and potential safety concerns. Moreover, it aids in effective inventory management and facilitates tracking of purchase history.
We are excited to share that the Autozilla POS software now encompasses this functionality. Allow you to elaborate on how it operates within the Autozilla POS system.
At the top of the Autozilla POS home screen, we can see the 
icon. Which is as mentioned below screenshot.
Step 1: Prior to initiating a search for spare parts within the POS system, it is imperative to input the vehicle details that we wish to incorporate into the sales invoice.
- To maintain consistent vehicle details throughout the entire sales invoice, simply input the vehicle information once and proceed to search and add all the necessary parts to the cart. This efficient approach eliminates the need to re-enter the vehicle details multiple times, thereby saving valuable time.
- To update the vehicle details for the next part, ensure that we enter the revised vehicle information before initiating a search for the part within the POS search feature.
Step 2: Once we have added all the parts to the cart and generated a sales invoice, the vehicle details we provided will be visible in the printed sales invoice. For a visual reference, please refer to the screenshot below.
Don't worry if you forgot to add vehicle details to the invoice! You can easily add vehicle details for an already generated invoice in the detailed view page of the invoice.
